A portion of the embankment adjacent to the Baffin Bridge has experienced erosion due to public activity. The City needs to address this issue promptly to ensure the stability of the approach pathway. Due to environmental working constraints which restrict construction work to only the coming weeks, as well as fluctuating low tide windows, it is necessary to perform this work between 5 p.m. and midnight on Thursday and Friday evenings (November 16 and 17).
– Work hours: 5 p.m.–midnight, November 16 and 17, 2023
– Workers will be performing backfill and slope remediation using a backhoe. Noise levels will be monitored.
– Adjacent properties are being notified, with contact information provided should a resident have questions or concerns.
