Foster City is excited to announce the launch of a dedicated Levee Improvements Project website at fostercitylevee.org.

The new website offers a user friendly and dynamic one-stop-shop for all information related to the Levee Improvements Project. Community members can now more easily find the project information they are looking for, including recent news and construction updates, detour maps, answers to frequently asked questions, and official staff reports and presentations. The new site also features a media gallery section, a great resource for understanding the vision, complexity, and scope of the project from a ‘boots on the ground’ perspective.

All video recordings and presentation slides from past Community Updates will also be housed on the website so residents can always stay up-to-date on the latest information, even if they were not able to join the virtual webinar. During this past Saturday’s Community Update, the Levee Improvements Project team answered nearly 50 community questions and were joined live by approximately 70 public participants.

“As one of the City’s largest public works projects in its history, we know that it is absolutely critical to keep our residents, businesses, and visitors informed about the progress of the levee improvements,” said City Manager Peter Pirnejad. “This new website has been designed to be very easy to navigate and will be continuously updated with new information.”

In addition to accessing the new website and frequently asked questions for the latest information, community members can sign up to receive regular project-related email updates or call the project hotline with construction-related questions at 1-800-213-6320.
